What Is Sculptra?
Unlike traditional dermal fillers that provide immediate volume, Sculptra works beneath the surface to improve the skin texture, firmness and restore facial structure and volume over time. This results in a natural-looking, fuller, youthful appearance.
What happens during treatment?
During the treatment, the Sculptra solution is injected into the subcutaneous layer of the skin with a fine needle or cannula to place small amounts at multiple points. Popular treatment areas include restoring facial volume in the temples, jawline, cheeks, nasolabials and smile lines. After treatment your practitioner may encourage massage at home to optimise results. The treatment is safe, with minimal discomfort and downtime, and is suitable for most skin types. We recommend a series of treatments (3-4), with at least 4 weeks between procedures, to achieve the maximum cosmetic result lasting up to 18 months – 2 years.
